Apple and the Worm

The Apple Tree Lesson Script
In a quiet orchard, an apple tree grew strong and healthy. One day, small worms appeared and began whispering to the apples.

“I wish I could fly,” said the apples.
“We can teach you,” replied the worms, “if you let us be your friends and live inside you.”

The worms questioned the apples: “Who told you that you cannot fly? Aren’t the vitamins inside you meant to help others?”
“God told us that’s why He created us,” the apples answered.

“Don’t listen to them!” warned the other apples. But some did not heed the warning.

A strong gust of wind shook the tree, sending the apples with worms tumbling down.
“I’m flying! I’m flying!” they cried—until they hit the ground with a crash. Their dream of flight ended in ruin, and they were thrown away. After all, who wants a worm-eaten apple?

This powerful object lesson illustrates the danger of believing lies and turning from God’s purpose.
