Bring the powerful story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den to life with this creative Gospel magic trick!
The lesson begins with King Darius, who appointed Daniel as a trusted administrator. Those jealous of Daniel plotted against him, tricking the King into signing a law that condemned anyone who prayed to any god but the King for 30 days. Daniel, however, remained faithful—praying three times a day to the Living God.
Exposed by his enemies, Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den despite the King’s sorrow. Yet God miraculously shut the mouths of the lions, sparing His faithful servant. The next day, Daniel was lifted out unharmed, and justice was served on those who conspired against him.
The lesson reminds us that the world may target our faith, but when we stay focused on God, He honors our trust in Him.
What you get to tell the story:
A strong black plastic storage case (for props and presentation).
2 half-pictures (one extra for replacement).
10 visuals of Daniel in the lions’ den (with hieroglyphics on the reverse).
2 rubber bands (one extra).
1 pen for signing the scroll.
When showing the hieroglyphics, explain how this represents the decree King Darius made, as recorded in Daniel 6:26–27.
This is a powerful way to combine visual storytelling, hands-on props, and biblical truth to capture attention and strengthen faith.
